City Utilities electric and natural gas residential single family and multi-family customers may qualify for a $50 rebate to have a tune-up performed on their heating system. Inspections and maintenance of heating systems ensure proper and efficient operation and prevents untimely breakdowns. Heating systems must be tuned-up between September 1, 2022 and December 31, 2022, to qualify. Certain restrictions apply; see Guidelines.

Guidelines

.• Applications must be submitted within 90 days of service completion date.

• City Utilities electric and natural gas residential single family and multi-family customers may qualify for a $50 rebate to have a tune-up performed on their heating system (September 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022).

• Rebates are limited to two (2) per premise.

• Customer is eligible for a heating system tune-up rebate every two years.

• Rebate will not exceed the cost of the heating system tune-up.

• Fireplace tune-ups do not qualify for this rebate.

• Rebate is not available for new construction.

• A completed Heating System Tune-up Rebate Application is required.

• A rebate will only be provided for tune-ups on heating systems for the premise identified on the application.

• Application must be signed and dated by the customer.

• Customer must submit a dated, detailed invoice as proof of service completion.

• Failure to provide required information may result in denial of the rebate.

•Rebates are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until program funds have been depleted.

• Applicants must be the customer of record for an active, non-delinquent account.

• City Utilities is not responsible for the heating system’s performance or energy savings, and does not provide any warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied.

• City Utilities reserves the right to inspect the rebated material. If such site did not have the qualifying natural gas tune-up performed, the rebate will be debited back to the utility account.

• Contracting companies may be excluded from participation in City Utilities’ rebate programs if false or fraudulent information is provided to customers and/or submitted for rebate purposes. Contracting companies will also be subject to exclusion if it is determined that services were improperly completed.

• City Utilities reserves the right to amend or discontinue this program without notice.

Applications must be submitted within 90 days of the service completion date.

All rebates will be applied to the customer’s utility bill.
