On October 26th, 2018 Harmony House is holding a public awareness event called “iCare”.
Join people throughout the community who will be taking the “iCare” pledge by wearing a symbolic black eye to raise awareness of the domestic violence problem in our community and raising funds for Harmony House to help save lives.
We will help support Harmony House’s mission and services by offering a portion of the proceeds from each maintenance contract we renew, and every new maintenance contract we sell, throughout the month of September to help raise funds. Here’s a fact that blows those doors wide open – Greene County has one of the highest rates of domestic violence per capita than anywhere else in the state. In 2017, Springfield had 2,902 domestic violence aggravated assault incidents.
We encourage you to learn more by going to the iCare web page that can be found at https://www.myharmonyhouse.org/
